The latest buzz around the Rangers.
Ronning is the next man up
Vitali Kravtsov is heading back to the KHL and that gives Ty Ronning a huge opportunity to make his case in Hartford. The 2016 7th round pick is now 22 so he needs to make the most out of this call up from the ECHL to Hartford.
Ronning, a second-year pro out of the Western Hockey League and seventh-round (201st overall) draft pick by the Rangers in 2016, has skated in four games this year with the Mariners and stands second on the team in goals and third in points, with 3-2-5.
