The NY Rangers had their winning streak snapped by the Carolina Hurricanes last night, blowing two leads in the third period to a 3-2 loss. The Canes controlled much of the play, but it was the Rangers holding a 1-0 lead heading into the third period. A scoring onslaught where the two teams traded goals over a 90 second span. The Canes would add the winner six minutes later.
The Blueshirts spent a good amount of time in their own zone, with Carolina dictating play in the offensive zone and clogging the neutral zone.
