In response to the Filip Chytil injury, the Rangers have recalled center Jonny Brodzinski from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Brodzinski was the last man cut from the roster at camp, and it was only a matter of time before he was recalled. Brodzinski has a solid 6-5-11 line in 7 games with Hartford this season, leading the team in scoring and serving as its captain.
Brodzinski’s recall likely means that Chytil will not be in the lineup on Saturday night in Minnesota. It could also mean there is little appetite to move Barclay Goodrow back to center or off the fourth line.
