The Rangers will close training camp with three days at West Point in upstate New York on Oct. 4-6.
The Sunday-through-Tuesday stay will lead into a Tuesday afternoon flight to Chicago for their Oct. 7 regular season opener against the reigning Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks.
The Blueshirts haven't moved their camp since Alain Vigneault's first season as head coach in the fall of 2013, when the organization spent some extended preseason time in Banff, Alberta.
