The Rangers practiced on Monday as they get set for their first game since their January 19th victory over the Boston Bruins. Here are a couple of updates.
Zuccarello OUT against Philadelphia – After not practicing yesterday for what was called a maintenance day, the Rangers announced that Zuccarello has a foot infection that will keep him sidelined, at a minimum, until Thursday night in New Jersey. Hopefully we will see the diminutive Norwegian return to the ice sooner rather tahn later.
Zibanejad scare in practice – There was a bit of concern for Mika Zibanejad at practice today as he came up hobbling after taking a shot during power play drills, according to Colin Stephenson of Newsday.
