Rangers coach Alain Vigneault promised changes this summer, and the easiest and most obvious way for the Rangers to change is to allow (most of) their unrestricted free agents to walk.
One of those is Dominic Moore, who was a terrific soldier here during the Rangers previous two seasons — a Presidents’ Trophy and seven of a possible eight playoff rounds.
But, as with others, it’s probably time for Moore.
It’s not all his fault that the Rangers have made a mess of their fourth line since they let Brian Boyle walk and traded Derek Dorsett, not that Dorsett was irreplaceable.
