After another overtime game, the Rangers come up short to the St. Louis Blues. Georgiev made 29 saves on 33 shots, and once again goaltending kept the Rangers in the game early.

Alex Georgiev quite simply has been such an impressive player since his call-up. It seems like every single game there is something done by the young goalie that sticks out. Last time out against the Penguins it was stopping a penalty shot against Evgeni Malkin. Against the Blues, it was stopping Vladimir Tarasenko on a 2v1. Tarasenko took a short side shot and the young goalie snagged it as easily as if I had shot it myself.
