Greg Brown has found a landing spot post-Rangers. Brown has gone back to amateur hockey, landing with Dubuque in the USHL. Brown was let go as part of the coaching staff purge by Chris Drury last month.
Tuomo Ruutu, who was with the Rangers’ player development group, has been named assistant coach in Florida. He was not fired by Drury, as far as we know, and this was just something that Drury didn’t block.
Last but not least, the Rangers have ended their ECHL affiliation with the Maine Mariners.
