The Rangers have made their first cuts of 2023 training camp, trimming the roster by 11 players. None of the players cut were a surprise, as none were ever in the running for an NHL spot. The 11 players cut does not include goalie Olof Lindbom, who was cut earlier today, so the Rangers cut 12 players today, again none of them with any real hope of making the NHL roster this year.
Lindbom, along with Maxim Barbashev, Seth Barton, Zach Berzolla, Ryan McCleary, and Sahil Panwar have all been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack in the AHL.
