Following Monday night’s loss in Edmonton, the Rangers continued their Western Canada tour with a contest against the Vancouver Canucks. Unlike their previous contest, the Rangers would lose this one in regulation, and could possibly have lost one or two of their players to suspensions in the process.
Pavel Buchnevich – The lone bright spot for the Rangers in this one was the power play goal from the young Russian. With the Rangers trailing 3-0 late in the third, Buchnevich took the Mika Zibanejad pass and beat Jacob Markstrom to give the Rangers some hope as the third period went on.
