The NHL expansion draft was held on Wednesday night and as far as the New York Rangers were concerned, there were no surprises. The Kraken, as expected, took forward Colin Blackwell, ending his career with the Rangers after one season.
Unfortunately, nearly all of the Kraken’s choices were leaked by midday Wednesday, so there were few if any surprises.
