He’s the new guy in the room, which is not to say he’s unfamiliar.
Jarret Stoll has spent about the past week or so acclimating himself to the Rangers after seven years with the Kings. He still might need some furniture for his new Manhattan apartment, and the pace of the city is quite different than around his previous in-season home on Hermosa Beach, Calif., with the Pacific Ocean lapping the shore in the background.
But funny enough, he also noticed a change of pace on the ice. His primary impression of the Rangers is from their five-game Stanley Cup final two years ago, when he saw up close and personal how quick and dangerous this core group of Blueshirts can be even if his Kings were victorious in securing the championship.
