ANAHEIM, Calif. — Two in a row remains elusive, as the Rangers’ up and down continues.

The Rangers couldn’t put together back-to-back victories for the first time since before Thanksgiving, completing their four-game western road trip with a 4-3 shootout loss the Ducks on Saturday afternoon.

Mika Zibanejad scored twice, and very nearly had the hat trick and game-winner in the 3-on-3 overtime period. But he was denied by goalie John Gibson, sending the game to a shootout.
