Vladislav Namestnikov landed in concussion protocol following his collision with Ottawa’s Thomas Chabot in the closing seconds of the Rangers’ 4-2 win Monday at the Garden.
Namestnikov did not practice Wednesday and didn’t accompany the Rangers for a two-game trip to Canada, with games Thursday in Ottawa and Saturday against Montreal.
Mats Zuccarello, who has missed eight of the past 10 games with a lingering groin issue, also did not make the trip.
Chabot told the Ottawa Sun that he didn’t see Namestnikov before they crashed into each other in the final minute of play Monday at the Garden.
