Rangers-Flyers Preseason Preview: Stoll takes turn on wing

Antti Raanta will start in goal and play the full game for the Rangers Monday night in their fifth of six exhibition games against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Garden.

The most critical line to watch in coach Alain Vigneault’s preseason player auditions, however, will be the fourth line with Dominic Moore at center, Emerson Etem on the left wing and Jarret Stoll on the right.

Despite the coach’s frequent public criticism of Kevin Hayes’ preseason play, he seemed to indicate for a second time on Monday morning at the Garden that basically Hayes is slotted nevertheless into the Blueshirts’ third line center spot, and that it’s down to Moore or Stoll to figure out which veteran takes the fourth line center position and which moves outside to wing.
