Henrik Lundqvist may not have witnessed any fights during the Rangers' 3-0 win over the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday night, but he inadvertendly caused one among fans at Madison Square Garden immediately after the victory.
Lundqvist, who recorded his first shutout of the season with 33 saves, came out onto the ice after the final buzzer to acknowledge his first-star honors. As per his occassional custom, the goalie launched his stick into a throng of collectible-craving fans, which instigated a minor skirmish when no one would let go.
