The Rangers and Islanders played a pretty competitive game last night, with the Isles coming out on top, 4-3 in regulation. This game started out heated, with emotions and almost fisticuffs galore. The teams exchanged quick goals, a fight broke out, the Isles added another, and that was before ten minutes had even passed.
Henrik Lundqvist faced just 20 shots, allowing four, two on the powerplay. Ice time was what was expected, I guess, with Pavel Buchnevich getting 10:03 of total ice time, third lowest on the team (Boo Nieves: 8:37, Cody McLeod: 7:40).
