Rangers Drop Home Finale to Blue Jackets 3-2, thank fans

A well played game on both ends but the Blueshirts fell short in a shootout and dropped their home finale to the Columbus Blue Jackets, 3-2.

Artemi Panarin stole the show for Columbus as he scored a highlight reel goal in the 3rd as well as the game winning tally in the shootout. Alexandar Georgiev was stellar in net for New York making 39 saves, keeping the Rangers afloat. Chris Kreider notched a goal as well as Pavel Buchnevich, who tied the game late in the 3rd with a bank shot from the left wing that crept in past Bobrovsky.
