The New York Rangers closed out another spirited session of practices and scrimmages at training camp today. Several players also spoke, but all eyes and ears were on Artemi Panarin.
He is unquestionably the Blueshirts best offensive weapon and one of the top players in the world. So entering the new season, many view him as the man to lead the team to the playoffs.
Last season, Artemi was forced to take a leave of absence due to a political hit job that caused him to miss two weeks of a shortened season. He was also rag-dolled and taken out for the season by Tom Wilson which sparked some firings and roster changes.
