Mats Zuccarello and Kevin Hayes may get their Garden farewell after all.
Rangers coach David Quinn said Thursday morning he plans on playing the two forwards, along with defenseman Adam McQuaid, unless he hears otherwise regarding the trade chips in the hours leading up to the 7 p.m. game against the Wild.
“Until I’m told differently, we’re going to play those guys,” Quinn said after Zuccarello, Hayes and McQuaid were all on the ice for the team’s morning skate. “We’re going to put the best lineup we can tonight and march forward, until I’m told differently.”
