Rangers Announce Hockey Club Personnel Additions

New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has named Steve Greeley as Assistant Director of Player Personnel and Nickolai Bobrov as Director of European Scouting.

Greeley, 34, joins the Rangers organization after serving as the Associate Head Coach of Boston University for the last two seasons. During his tenure at Boston University, Greeley played a vital role in the school’s recruiting process. Last season, he helped the Terriers post the top record in Hockey East during the regular season, capture the Hockey East Championship, and advance to the National Championship Game.

Prior to joining Boston University, the Scituate, Massachusetts native served as a scout in the Los Angeles Kings organization for seven seasons (2006-07 – 2012-13), and as a professional scout for the final four seasons of his tenure.
