New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has agreed to terms with free agent forward Daniel Paille.
Paille, 31, has skated in 570 NHL games over parts of 10 seasons with Buffalo and Boston, registering 85 goals and 87 assists for 172 points, along with a plus-17 rating and 135 penalty minutes. In six seasons with the Bruins (2009-10 – 2014-15), Paille recorded 95 points (50 goals, 45 assists) in 375 games, and he helped Boston win the Stanley Cup in 2010-11. In addition, Paille helped Boston advance to the Stanley Cup Final in 2012-13, registering nine points (four goals, five assists) and posting a plus-four rating in 22 playoff games.
