Rangers Acquire Forward Nicklas Jensen

New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has acquired forward Nicklas Jensen and a sixth round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Emerson Etem.

Jensen, 22, has skated in 27 games with the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL) this season, registering four goals and eight assists for 12 points, along with a plus-three rating and 20 penalty minutes. He has registered a point in 12 different games this season, and he posted a four-game point streak from Nov. 22 at Hartford to Nov.
