Another Rangers trade, but another minor one, as the Rangers acquired defense prospect Darren Raddysh from Chicago in exchange for AHL veteran Peter Holland, who was in Hartford.
Raddysh, an undrafted free agent out of the OHL’s Erie Otters, had put up a line of 8-18-26 this season with AHL’s Rockford IceHogs, improving upon his line of 5-17-22 from last season. The soon to be 23 year old defenseman is a righty shot who won the Max Kaminsky award for the OHL’s best defenseman and the Leo Lalonde trophy for the OHL’s overage player of the year.
