Promising Rangers prospect Karl Henriksson will remain in Sweden

The Frolunda Indians of the SHL have announced the signing of Karl Henriksson. The Rangers prospect was drafted last season in the 2nd round and at 19 years of age is really starting to open up some eyes. While the Rangers are have signed K’Andre Miller and soon to be Nils Lundkvist to ELC’s, they are playing it smart with Henriksson and allowing him more time to develop.

High Hopes for Henriksson

Henriksson is on the small side for centers at just 5’9″, but has shown flashes of excellent playmaking ability. It was a hectic summer last year for Henriksson with the Summer Showcase in Plymouth, MI, where he played in 5 games, followed by the Rangers Prospect Development camp.
