Playoff spots are set, but the Riveters have one more chance to boost their regular season record against the second-place Whale
Unless the Riveters upset the Pride in the playoffs, tonight at 6 pm will be the last time they meet the Connecticut Whale, who are in second place with a 12-5 record. They are also the only team that the Rivs have not beaten at least once this season. The Whale, who lost their last two games, will no doubt be looking to end the regular season with a win on home ice.
The Riveters will need to give everything they've got to protect Nana Fujimoto, whose excellent play last week was not enough to ward off a Buffalo squad bent on revenge.
