Former Penguins GM and TV color commentator, Pierre McGuire was on WFAN radio to talk hockey. They talked about hockey in NY and he touched on the Islanders as well.
Pierre McGuire not overly impressed with Alexis Lafreniere
When he was asked for his take on Alexis Lafreniere he said the following:
“Is he a Connor McDavid? No. A Nathan MacKinnon? No. He’s not the kind of player who can take over games as a winger. But he’s a spectacular player and is going to be a huge part of the Rangers moving forward.”
