Chris Drury and Gerard Gallant met yesterday and according to Pierre LeBrun the interview went well. There is likely to be another conversation but Gallant is heading to Lativa to coach Team Canada at the World Championships.

On Wednesday, we wrote that an interview was coming quickly based off reports from Darren Dreger. “The New York Rangers have been granted permission by the Vegas Golden Knights to interview Gerard Gallant,” he said. “So clearly he is one of the top candidates in the process that has been started by Chris Drury.
