The Riveters earned their first win of the season last night, defeating the Boston Pride 3-2. It was a hard fought game for the Riveters, who found themselves in a 1-0 hole just four minutes into the first period. They managed to take a 2-1 lead later in the first, thanks to goals from Madison Packer and Beth Hanrahan just 13 seconds apart. Nana Fujimoto played out of her mind, making 42 saves on the night. Bray Ketchum scored the game winner with 17:32 remaining in the third, while the Riveters had a 5-on-3 advantage. The Riveters will be back in action next weekend, when they travel to Boston for the Pride's home opener.
