The Riveters finished up their preseason today with a 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Whitecaps. The Whitecaps, who play in the Western Women's Hockey League, had lost 8-4 to the Connecticut Whale last night.
This game marked the first appearance for Nana Fujimoto, winner of the Best Goaltender award at this year's IIHF Women's World Championship. The Riveters' goals were scored by Morgan Fritz-Ward and Bray Ketchum. Click below to check out the photo gallery, and stay tuned for Mike's recap.
