Daniel Paille may be the newest New York Ranger, but it doesn’t mean he’s a stranger to his new teammates and coaches. Far from it actually.
As Paille waited for the team flight to North Carolina Thursday afternoon he was greeted with big smiles and warm welcomes from some close childhood friends, many who had played against him previously in his NHL career, and one coach who worked with him at his first stop in the league.
“I can’t really describe how much excitement I have in me,” Paille told BlueshirtsUnited.com. “It’s really something special for me to have the opportunity to play here; and it’s a comfortable spot, too, for me to prove myself again.
