Through the first nine games of the 2019-20 season, the Wolf Pack got themselves off to an 8-0-0-1 start, the second-best start to a season in franchise history when the team started the 2004-05 season 9-0. In the three games since, the Pack has gone 0-1-0-2. While there is no need for panic 12 games into the season, especially while leading the Atlantic Division and the entire AHL there is one area of concern, the power play.
Powerless
The Wolf Pack’s power-play stats are nothing short of horrendous. As a team, the Pack sits 30th out of 31 teams in the league having converted 4 of 50 power-play chances, an 8% conversion rate.
