The New York Rangers will once again go with Igor Shesterkin in goal tonight. Surprisingly, the Penguins are going back to Tristan Jarry after he was shelled in the last game. That wasn’t all the new to come out of David Quinn’s presser though.
Igor Shesterkin starts again for the Rangers
David Quinn is riding his hot hand and putting to bed any notion that Igor Shesterkin’s durability is a question mark. This season his .924 SV% tied for fourth in the NHL and his 2.36 GAA is good for 7th. Remember; Igor Shesterkin is still considered a rookie this season and in that category his SV% is tops with his GAA good for second.
