The NY Rangers have recalled Will Cuylle from the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack. To make room for him on the roster, they have sent Sammy Blais to Hartford on a conditioning stint.
Cuylle, who is the subject of our own Will Wright’s prospect piece coming up at noon (spoiler alert), is having a fine season in Hartford. The stat line (13-7-20 in 39 games) isn’t sexy, but Hartford is awful and he’s one of their best players. He earned the recall, and it looks like the Rangers want to see what they have in him.
