Mika Zibanejad (goal, assist), Chris Kreider (goal, assist), and Pavel Buchnevich (goal, two assists) dominated the Toronto Maple Leafs all night as the NY Rangers won out 5-3. The Leafs had no answer for the KZB line, as the line single-handedly gave the Rangers a lead they would not relinquish.
This game was about the Rangers getting pressure on backup goalie Michael Hutchinson, which they did all night long. The Blueshirts had a game plan, and that was to shoot on Hutchinson, who is not very good. All Igor Shesterkin had to do was play better, and he did that by miles.
