The Rangers and Devils played a weird one on Tuesday night. They traded chances in the first and part of the third, but played relatively boring hockey in the second. Tonight they go at it again, with the Rangers looking to continue Igor Shesterkin’s shutout streak. The lineup remains the same for both teams.
This is the second of four must wins for the Rangers. It’s not truly a must win, but they need to beat the bad teams to keep pace with the Bruins. Remember the Bruins have six games against the Sabres left, so if you assume they win all those games, the Rangers need to win all these games.
