The Rangers are riding high after putting up a nine spot on the Flyers on Wednesday night. However the Washington Capitals are not the Alain Vigneault Flyers. The Caps are atop the division with two games in hand, and are showing no signs of slowing down. The Rangers needs points if they want to stay relevant, and they need them in a hurry.
Kris Knoblauch and Gord Murphy will be behind the bench again. Given what they accomplished on Wednesday, it’s safe to assume there was no rush to get David Quinn and company fast tracked to return.
