NY Rangers Game 23 Open Thread: Staying relevant

The Rangers took 61 seconds off on Sunday, and it cost them the game and their win streak. Now they are in a fight to stay relevant, as their playoff chances are fading fast. They aren’t in must-win territory yet, but they are in pretty-close-to-must-win territory. Given they have a pair in Boston coming up, getting a split with Pittsburgh is critical.

Keith Kinkaid gets the start tonight, as Igor Shesterkin isn’t quite ready to return yet. There’s a valid argument that Kinkaid should have started Sunday, as Alex Georgiev looked shaky in his second of a back-to-back.
