The Riveters add the versatile Sydney Kidd to the mix and, in all likelihood, they finalize their roster.
The New York Riveters have added what looks to be the last piece of the puzzle today when they signed their second Canadian-born player, Sydney Kidd from Sundridge, Ontario. The last time Kidd was on the ice she was wearing purple and silver as a University of Western Ontario Mustang where she played both forward and defense. Before her time at the University of Western Ontario, Kidd attended the Trinity College School and was a standout playing both basketball and hockey while graduating with honors and earning the school's Distinction award in her grade 12 year.
