Well, this promises to be a clown show. Guys giving a half-hearted effort during a 3-on-3 game? Nice. They winners of the first two games will be exhausted by the final. The goalies might need stretchers.
But I digress.
The skills competition the night before continues to be a better product than the actual All-Star game(s) — where guys try hard to entertain and you get a glimpse of their personalities.
And yet, NBCSN vandalized it with its low-angle cameras, including the impossible-to-watch shots from cameras behind held by skaters trailing the play. Seriously, I watched some of that stuff and I couldn’t tell, on probably 85 percent of the attempts, whether a goal was scored or not.
