What a wild and busy day in the NHL yesterday. The NHL roster freeze had passed at 3 PM ET with no movement having many believe nothing took place. Then the floodgates opened as the NHL finalized all the paperwork and the transactions came through.
At 5 PM ET, teams all submitted their protected lists and later in the evening some more news came out. That included Canadiens goaltender Carey Price waiving his no-move clause.

The Montreal Canadiens got another big save from goalie Carey Price. Reports indicate the Habs star has agreed to waive his no-move clause solely for the Expansion Draft in order to protect backup Jake Allen.
