Mats Zuccarello has signed with the Minnesota Wild, and as a result the New York Rangers will not be receiving the Dallas Stars’ 2020 first-round pick.
Zuccarello is coming off a season in which he was limited to 48 games, but he tallied 12 goals and 28 assists for 40 points. The diminutive playmaker did so while averaging 19:51 a game, and his underlying metrics, per Corsica, include a 48.86 CF%, a 50 GF%, and a 52.04 xGF%.
After leaving the Rangers, Zuccarello tallied three points in two games during the regular season with the Stars, as he suffered a broken arm.
