Tweeting out a promotional odyssey through New York City yesterday was just one more example of the Riveters' strategy to market to young hockey fans on social media platforms. With Sunday's home opener just a few days away, the Riveters are doing what they can do to play in front of a sold-out crowd on Sunday night against Hilary Knight and the Boston Pride. The Connecticut Whale's home opener reportedly had and estimated 200 more people than the small rink in Stamford, Connecticut was designed to hold. The Riveters will have their work cut out for them to sell out their own home opener this weekend.
