As complicated as life can be, the simple enjoyment of sports can carry us through the nitty-gritty of life. No matter how difficult things can be at work or school, there is something enchanting about sitting down and watching the New York Rangers after a long day. This year the team has exceeded expectations and been a genuine enjoyment to watch.
Coming into the year, the Rangers were expected to be a bottom feeder in the league. However, the team has rattled off nine wins in its last ten games in spite of bad underlying numbers. While the team’s success likely won’t continue over the course of an entire season, it’s hard to not get excited.
