In case you missed it, here’s what the buzz was all about over the past week.
Recently, the Anaheim Ducks signed Jakob Silfverburg to a $15 million, four-year-contract with an average annual cap hit of $3.75 million. It was a relatively cheap signing and a great big W for the Ducks, especially considering the 13 goals and 39 points he posted last year in his first full NHL season.
As New York Rangers fans, the Silfverburg signing brought our attention to none other than Carl Hagelin. Hagelin is surprisingly still unsigned.
