It appears that New York Rangers head coach has seen enough of Micheal Haley. The forward was waived on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers head coach David Quinn benched Micheal Haley after he took a ”lazy” penalty in Saturday’s loss to the Florida Panthers.
Quinn’s Rangers have taken far too many penalties this season, which has contributed to two losses on the road in Florida this weekend.
On Sunday afternoon, which could be interpreted as a direct message to the players, Haley was placed on waivers, via Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post.
