The New York Rangers have received permission to speak with Toronto Maple Leafs assistant coach Spencer Carbery.

According to a report by Sportnet’s Elliotte Friedman, the 41 year-old will also talk with or has spoken to the Washington Capitals, Calgary Flames, and Anaheim Ducks for their open head coaching spots.
