Simply put, the New York Rangers are off to a bad start. Toting a record of 3-7-2, the team sits next to last in the Eastern Conference. After the offseason put together by general manager Jeff Gorton, nobody expect such a poor start.
This past offseason featured a fair few good management moves. However, not all of them have panned out as planned. One that has exceeded expectations is the signing of center David Desharnais.
Desharnais is having a great start to is Rangers career. He began the season on the fourth line but has worked his way into a greater role.
