The New York Rangers are in a bit of a pickle. After years of contention, they have fallen apart at the seams and are looking to rebuild. After years of trading away prospects for veterans, the tables have turned. The Rangers have begun to unload their core players in favor of NHL hopefuls or draft picks.
Luckily, the front office has gotten better at holding on to draft picks. For the first time in five years, The New York Rangers were drafting in the first round. They had not only one, but two first round picks.
