If you thought the New York Rangers were 100 percent going to move Kevin Hayes and Mats Zuccarello at the trade deadline this season, hold your breath.
According to a report from Larry Brooks of the New York Post, the Rangers and their two pending unrestricted free agents have begun talking about a possible contract extension.
